Default Help Have to make a quick decision. Fender Roll???

I can get a set of 19x9.5 +35offset. adr rims for dirt cheap. But i know u have to get ur fenders modified to get them to fit. So i was just wondering if someone could clue me in on how hard it is to roll fenders or how much it will cost to get it done somewhere??? He gave me a couple hours to decided or he is selling them to someone else. thanks guys

you can do the fender roll ur self just need the tool and a heat gun just depend on how confident u are in ur self. Or i think a shop shouldnt charge more then like 100-150 not sure

Depends on your tire setup and how low your car is. I currently have 20x8.5 +40 offset all around and clears fine. My tire is a little tucked in on the fender wells.

I think shops charges about 40 bucks to roll each side (x4 so it'll be $160). Maybe they'll do it for $100?

Good luck... Could be a good set of wheels to hold on with.

Thanks guys and thats not too bad for getting them rolled if i have to. I didnt want to do them my self as i didnt want my paint to crack or chip off. thanks again

dont be fooled. no matter what you do the paint will crack. usually it is on the inside edge that you roll up. while its still fresh get some rust inhibitor spray paint and cover it up.

^+1.... I have rolled about 8 cars. Half of them the paint cracked. No matter how careful you are even with the heat gun the paint can crack.... And yes, usually on the inside edge of the fender well lip.

Ok cool, cuz i was not really looking forward to getting them rolled. But i was thinking about doing a 235/35 tire. from what ive seen that does not seem like a big stretch, should any tire shop be able to do that stretch??

235 on a 9.5 is nothing. most competent shops have a cheetah bead seater.

ive had 235/45 on 10.5" wheels before.

225/45 on a 9.5 is pretty easy too.

btw dont do a 35 profile. do a 45

another choice is wide fenders, the origin gives a great amount of extra space. For the rear you might want to cut and mold. The rear kits tend to be more expensive:/
