^^^Turbodrems is correct, there will be no point on getting another manual ecu because when having a 5 speed transmission u create ur own shift points...
if running a automatic tranny, with auto ecu the ecu controls the shift points so it will be a waste of money bro

that's true, but aren't you "shifting" against the auto? so wouldn't there be like a short "lag" (best term i could think of) when shifting?
^^^ No, there wouldn't be any lag, u are controlling ur own shifts..so the ecu has no control ova the tranny anymore...the auto ecu will work jus like the manual ecu will because it no longer has control ova the tranny and cannot tell it when to shift.
I just pick up a 92 sc300 auto that has a manual ecu, the car seems to run like crap wont idle on its own and throttle wont respond sometimes. Do i need to get auto Ecu or should I look for another throttle body?
using an auto ecu on a manual transmission will throw a code. if you dont care about the CEL being on and dont have state emissions then I guess you are fine either way. Living in IL with emissions that CEL would make you fail the test.
man when i put a auto ecu on my car it would run perfect of like a few days then it will cut off when i try to move the car but in neutral the car reved up with no problems as soon as i start moving it would turn my car off... just my experience with that
