I have a 95 SC300 that the steering wheel electronic tilt will not work. it is stuck all the way up and when I try to lower it just makes an aweful grinding noise. Can I fix this? any info would be appreciated such as how hard of a job to replace the unit? The car had a new steering rack and such done a year ago.

there is an SC400 in the junk yard by my house, can anyone give me info on what I need to get to make sure this will work again and roughly what kind of cash it would cost me?
