Default OEM Battery Replacement

Recently replaced my battery and decided to buy an oem lexus battery. But before I did so I was researching if anyone had ever found any Toyota batteries to fit the sc400.

Huh? The dealer will give you one that goes with the car. Even when you go to local store, there is a specific battery that will fit and with the right or recommended specs as far as the cranking power etc...

Why would you get one from the dealer? That really doesnt make since to me. Lexus doesnt make their own batteries. Get one from Advanced Auto, or Autozone...walmart...whatever is closest to you...

Optima battery..threw one in my SC the other day, and other than the turbo, its the best upgrade I have done..starts instantly, no more dimming gauges when the blinkers are on, and they last forever..

well worth the money.

Why go OEM? Are you planning to run your car with the hood off so people can see your battery?

I went with a $90 Autozone battery with a 7 year warranty. I have no complaints ...

My Panasonic OEM went 13 years and there is a guy on this forum who just took out a 17 year OEM battery. That has to be a record. That's why.

+1 on the optima redtop. My alternator went out but i thought it was my battery because my alternator was only a year old. Optima redtop ran the car for three days with no alternator.
