The only part of the solara that looks any good is forward of the front wheels and below the hood (basicly the front bumper and grill). The rest of the car looks like a giant boat.

In 1999 toyota stopped making cool cars(guy cars). Other than the matrix and celica. Matrix should have been a scion. And they got rid of the celica.

And no they dont like alike. I think your reading far to much into the soarer/solara. THe only other car that looks like are cars is the LFA silver consept.

Finally I am not the only one that thinks they look similar. If solara came rwd, i would got it but since it FWD, I got SC plus the luxury of it. My friend who got solara wishes he got a SC instead LOL

I actually have both, i dont really see them being like brothers or maybe brother from another mother haha....but the Solara does look nice with some offset wheel like mine : ). The only thing I need is a drop but dont feel like spending that money so might sell the car.

Totally reminds me of an SC.
I think its the stripe running up the side of the car, like ours.
Also, the interior is very similar..

I've always loved SC's, but when I was younger 17-18, I wanted a Solara, 'cus I couldnt afford an SC at the time.. Their nice.
Now, I have an SC, and wouldnt trade it for the world
(unless the world, included an R33 Skyline GT-R.. tehee )
