yes indeed.. Its a 6.0 lq4 Ls1.. I was very suprised at how well it fit. Well until I put the Fast 92 intake on it...now the hood won't shut. I love the SC400 and at this time have no problem with the power it makes. However ....dont be suprised if eventually you see an Ls1 stuffed under the hood of it.

that thing needs a body kit too. i never really liked the e39 looks because of the bumpers and kinda high looking stance

 

there was a guy selling a 2jz e39 here in sgv socal a while back on cl...pretty sick swap..good luck with your project man!

 

BMWs are nice before it comes down to maintance... Not a great thing for college student (like myself).

I've had 99 e39 540i/6, and e46 328i/5. The 540 was the beast... Kind of miss those cars.
