Default Removing Steering Column Cover

Is there a trick to removing the plastic cover over the steering column.

I got the 2 screws out underneath. The left side moves freely but it feels stuck on the right. Do I need to remove any other panels or anything else to take this off?

Did you remove one screw up top somewhere? I have to fix my steering wheel, too. Can't wait to do it.

You have to pull out on the black trim piece that holds the hour/min/reset switch. It pulls straight out towards you. Then turn the steering wheel a little to the left, and you will see another screw in there. Its directly behind the steering wheel, mounted flush on the plastic cover. If you keep pulling on it, you will break the plastic covers. Hope this helps.
