Aren't those the ebay clear lenses on your lights? Or are those the clear lights for sale from this thread?
I can't tell, but it's bordering on mis-information if those aren't the lights that Rides-Low is selling*

I think many members are wondering how they will look on a white SC w/ the black frame. I am working on getting this fitted.

So, as of now, the GB is sitting at 5 lenses paid for.
There was a huge following just last week. Can I ask, without trying to be pushy, what the hold up is? Members can chime in to let me know what is holding some back from placing their order. (Keep in mind, responses from me will be kept to a minimum, but I would love to hear the comments).

not into cutting why not make a whole replacement,
why couldnt we just deline the factory lenses?
and lastly why not make them out of glass since the plastic dulls and is a huge pita to keep up?

if u have ever taken apart the stock SC lens then uwill know why it is such a pain to do a whole piece.
u can gladly deline them but just have fun spending hours and hours of sanding. hand sanding if i might add, dont want to melt the lens with a buffer now do ya.
making them out of glass is kinda dumb since the glass will only scatter the light. these lenses are UV coated and will not fade or dull.
please be patient Fumo, Rides Low and I are very busy and we will have them on a white car no longer than this week.
but heres a little teaser of what the owner of the current lens did. waiting for the sillicone to fully cure and they will be placed on the car.
the pic below is in 3648x2736 so u can see many of the fine details. yes there is extra sillicone sticking out but that will be taken car of once cured.

I think you are running into a couple reasons why. The biggest is the 2 other group buys that crashed and burned. Even after he got a set in and was showing them. Then something happened to the mold and many many people sent in money and it took forever to get it back.
Second, is it different for people to put the money on the table than just send you a yea I will do it. (This is what Scott was talking about)
Third I think the cutting is really turning people off as they are not sure of their "skill" level.
I like them a lot. It is just a timing thing for me really. I am finishing up putting the car back together this week hopefully. When it is running I will then buy a used set of headlights and then will order a set of these so I can do a retro HID system. (However I did not put my name on the list
) Also a savings of $25 is not making me rush.

Agreed, because it's not a "true" lense replacement (where you remove the factory lense completely and the new one pops right in with perfect fitment) it might be causing many people to question if they can do this mod - since technically it's a mod, not a straight replacement lense. If someone isn't comfortable with cutting their factory lense, or is wondering what if they cut it wrong etc. they're out "under $200" and have a cut up OEM headlamp.
