Another image of the lens/headlight test fitted from a side view:

Lenses alone

Below you will see how the OEM clip/return is used to attach the new lenses for a beautiful OEM fit.

Exactly how much of that edging in the pics is the factory front lense?

Does the buyer need to cut the whole circumference off of their factory front lenses, and then need to glue them to the front lense that you supply, and then from there glue that on top of the housing? (Or do you supply exactly what is seen in these last pics including clips?)

I wonder, do you even really need to remove the factory lense from the housing? It looks like you could just cut up the factory lense, and directly put this lense on, avoiding the oven method all together... Hmm... Interesting. Any pics of them installed on a non-black SC? I'd like to see how that black strip around the circumference looks as well. Lots o questions, hopefully you can shed some light.

You have it right the first way:

The buyer will cut the factory lense off at the edge where the housing and the lense meet, then glue the lense to this piece, let glue cure, and reinstall. There will be two ways to do this, bake the lenses off and cut or cut the front of the lenses off without baking. The latter of the two ways will not give you access to gluing the inside of the lense, although it shouldn't be necessary if a nice bead is ran along the meeting surfaces. Glad you are liking the idea of the no bake method (That's the way I'd prefer if I was doing it to my own car).

We will also offer a service to retrofit this, but we are looking to give a low cost solution to the clear lens problems.

I do understand the skepticism 100% and I will gladly accept it. But that's where I will come in. I am trying to make a name for myself and getting people's hopes up and then not coming through is definitely NOT the way to do it (at least positively).

At the moment, that's what we are going for.

We you looking for something color-keyed? If that's the case not sure our team could handle that at first, but at this point, nothing is out of the question. We're just trying to get some feedback as well.

Just came to my mind. The black trim is on the INSIDE of the lenses so no worries about it getting scratched or flaking off.

I'm interested, but anything near 200 seems like a lot for some plastic.

The ebay lights your get a whole head light for the same price not that they look that great.
