you had to cut the lip of your original lens and glue it to what they sold you.

so if you didn't cut the original lip to perfect size you are screwed.

their instructions said to follow this recess around but on the edges there was no place to follow so i just had to guess at it

then when gluing the lip to new lens was impossible
it was like if you a cut a Tupperware bowl in half the trying to glue them together with silicone sealant
i got silicone all over my lens which ruined it too. that was my fault

was a crappy design
and they exploited the desperate clear lens crowd

i wish there were actually pictures of said "recess" that needs to be followed.

and im wondering how secure the lense will be held in-place with the silicone.

I just cut the lens at the very edge. Like where the front clear part just ends and meets the rest of the part that faces back and gets glued into the housing.

One thing I would do if I did it again, is after you cut your lenses, paint the part of the lens you're reusing black, and use black silicone to reseal it.
