So you don't have to waste time looking it up, Prowler is talking about this:

the look is hot when you put it all together.
Way to toot your own horn there buddy.

I agree, It's a neat and different look. It gives the appearance of chrome bezels and the sharp contrast with black and chrome makes it pop.

But I have to say it would look a whole lot better if your tape job was straight.
Use Scotch brand blue fine-line tape next time. It's a lot easier to pickup contours with.
That way the tape lines won't be jagged.

I'm be really interested...

I'm just confused. It's late.

once the lense process is done. the sealing to the stock housing should be easy. I had the problem because the ebay lens is smalled than the stock housing.. PLEASE let me know when lenses are ready so i can design a final headlight. ( with blue painters tape)

Will keep everyone updated. The time is drawing closer for a final production piece.

It's not just blue painters tape. Look closer... It's vinyl fine line tape. It's what painters use to lay down flames and stripes.

BTW....to me, and this is my opinion, I think it's a real turnoff that you have to chop up your original lens for a couple obvious reasons such as some people just don't have the skills to make something like this come out clean, and second....what if you screw up? Then you gotta find another stock headlight somehow to chop up that lens and your back to square one again, plus the cost of another headlight.....you might as well have done it right to begin with and just got a 1 piece plug and play lens. Once again, this is just my opinion so don't flame.
