Default Clear headlight lens feeler thread - GB coming soon

So, in the Vendor section I told everyone that I would be coming out with some really good products. It took a little while, but now I am head to introduce the clear lenses for the SC300/400's. This will be great for those looking for an updated, clean look, or those doing HID retrofits. Personally, I never know how sick these lights looked under the non-clear lenses.

This is only going to be an interest thread, once there is enough interest, we can get the GB going in the F/S section. Post all questions in this thread, no need for PMs as this thread is to be informational for all as well.

Sign your name below, rest assured that pricing on this will be very reasonable (less than 200 for those who get in on the GB). I am listing those interested, nothing concrete here. Don't worry, you haven't sold yourselves, yet.

I might get in on this if I have the money by then. Any idea when they'll be ready?

I'm in if they will be perfectly fit. Only reason I say that was because I believe some members bought one of those aftermarket headlights on ebay, take the lense out and put them on their original housing. Its been said that most of those do not fit perfectly and have some issues.

But yeah.. I'm in.

Hope this one goes better than the last couple "clear lens" GB's

Few questions
1. Whats the brand?
2. Could you install the light in a car and take some pics? I am interested in the outer edge gap where the light meets the fender. Factory there is a 4mm thick gasket, I have seen some clear lenses that dont fill that gap very well.
3. How good is the fitment on the light itself?
4. Do the edges come pre-painted black or was that done to the lens by the installer? That really helps hide glue on clear lenses.
5. Last, sorry for all the questions, how many sets do you have to get to make this happen?

Dang, that is a good price, too bad I already ordered the overpriced super-made lens a few weeks ago..

i think that less than $200 is too general. I need more approximate pricing.. $100-120, $120-140, $140-160, $160-180, $180-199

Please let me know. I'd be in too..

I might be interested depending on when you do the GB and if the fitment is good.

1. custom made.
2. this lens was made and owner of the headlight requested for the lens not to be reattached.
3. like OEM, will get better pics when the lens are sent back.
4. yes i do believe that this will come painted black.
5. looking for at least 10 people...more would be fantastic.

LiCelsior has been working behind the scenes with me on this. His answers are legit.

These lenses will fit just like OEM. OEM lenses were used and the OEM lens returns are used for the installation.

I will be able to post up additional pictures later on tonight or tomorrow.
