So I decided to change my tails to the 97+ tail lights....I went to eBay and bought some brand new ones. They didn't come with the wiring harness and im having a real hard time locating a set of used wiring harnesses. I checked all over the local yards, called them all up, even called junk yards nationwide still with no luck. Even Aliga didn't have a set. It runs about $220 each side if I want to get them new from the dealership which is ridiculous.

Guys got any ideas?

you buy the ones that was like 365 on ebay? .. if so good thing i didnt buy that one.. i just bought some that comes with harness too!.. didnt know they were so hard to find.. i was afraid so. thats why i bought the one that came with the harness instead of those brand new ones for 365..

Yeah those are the ones....I figured its worth spending a little more to get brand new ones vs older ones. They really look nice, I cant wait to get them in....im just having trouble finding a harness set.

I had a wiring set shipped to me yesterday that supposedly came off a 00 SC. When I looked at it, it had a total of 7 bulbs, which is from a pre 97 model =\. The 97's and up have a total of 5 bulbs. I guess the hunt for a wiring set continues....

make your own harness, most part stores carry replacement light sockets, it will be cheaper than buying new and it's not that hard make.

No way.

First off, go to a Toyota dealership.
Tell them this #81555-24070

Its like $25-$30 each from the local Toyota dealership.

If worse comes to worse, go to www.parts.com

search by part number.

use 81555-24070

Select Toyota, NOT Lexus.

It comes up as

Toyota 81555-24070 = $27.55 each
Lexus 81555-24070 = $32.52 each
