Question So I'm looking to buy an SC300

I'm looking at an SC300 and I have a few simple questions.
Fist off, the car I'm looking at has a "blown up motor." The contact said the body and interior is in good shape.

Questions:

1) What is the price range of getting an SC300 up and running with a 2JZ?
-motor costs?
-rebuild, parts?
2) Are parts for this car expensive? Hard to come by? Abundant?
3) Is this a Reliable car?
-if purchessed, there will be heavy modding, F/I, and driven on streets as well as tracks
-possible daily driver in town during summer

I plan to do all the work my self and will have another car to drive.
I have moderate to good car knowledge. I knew very little a year ago, now I drive a boosted ford escort. I figured out and did all of the work myself. I can be a quick learner.

Thanks,
Ben

DIY is the way to go to save $$$.... Looks like this will be a project car for you. How much is the car for sale for? Since it has a blown motor, it is probably best to do a turbo swap as well as 5spd if it is an auto. That alone will probably cost you about 3K (i'm guessing) I'm sure SC300 owners that have already done the swap can chime in and give you their input...... I was originally looking for an SC3 but a friend of mine decided to sell his SC4 so I bought it.

I think it is an auto and that will not stand! I will defiantly be doing a 5spd swap. Since I wont be relying on it for driving at the moment, It would probably be cheaper/easier to do a turbo build at the same time that I rebuild/replace the engine.
The price is $500ish (not too sure)

I tried registering at that site, but I couldn't actually get into the registration page.

How much is "Quite a bit?" I plan to eventually throw a good amount of money into this car.
