Lightbulb New 2JZGE: Price & Place?

I may be looking into purchasing a new or rebuilt 2JZGE motor. As much as I'd love to opt for the 2JZGTE, I don't feel the need to fork over, what is it, $20,000...when I can buy a freekin' MKIV-TT for that price.

Where should I start looking? Any websites? How about parts and labor estimates?

Thanks guys.

Actually...what would it end up costing me for the 2JZGTE swap...???

Anyone around Los Angeles know? How about Area 51, what's their story?

well, as far as finding a used 2JZ-GTE -- I saw one go on Ebay w/ the harness, wiring, ECU, and Automatic transmission for $2,300. The engine had less that 35,000 miles on it too. If you're really interested, I'd look @ the 2JZ-GE to 2JZ-GTE manual that Phil A. Has...

Also, check on www.car-part.com and see if some yahoo has totaled a low milage GS300, SC300, Supra N/A. (The IS 300 has VVTi)
