SC400 - I want to repaint it.. any suggestions??
Hey - I have a 1992 SC400. At the moment it is cherry green colour I think? or whatever Green...
I want to a repaint it... I want suggestions... Also want to put Lambo Doors....

if you try it will look like *** . a real color change paint job is very involved .
and trust me i'm respraying my top again these cars are a pain to try and tape the window seals ar way to small .
figure this in most of cali a base color change paint job will run you 10k .
out of state probably 6k which means you might as well buy 2 more sc300 autos's and get a different color . i waited 3 months to get my white 5 spd for what i wanted to pay for it .
save your cash man get the color you want sell yours or figure a way to accent the color you have to make it yours .
and as for lambo doors a good set will run you 1600.00 not installed don't buy crap ones they will rip you door frame

I've always wondered how well done those lambo door hinges would have to be fabricated because these doors are HEAVY.

Do a search around the forums, there are numerous pictures with different colors + setups.
I'd have to go no with the lambo doors too, there called lambo doors for a reason.
As for paint, you can't go wrong with DWP, Onyx Black or RSP.

Yeh, after thinking about LAMBO DOORS... meh, not really interested in them anymore... for paint wise... just my hood, bumper are need of paint... everything else is mint.. so might as well stay with the same colour... estimated around $700....
