Thanks man...it does feel good. I don't even have a garage and did all this in my driveway. Knowing that you did something that most people wouldn't dream of attempting makes it that much better.

I must say, its getting cold here at night and the car seriously hauls at such little throttle, it's unbelievable. The turbo's spool at 2100rpm or so and full boost is at 2800rpm give or take. Only mods I have are front mount intercooler and a K&N filter. Exhaust is stock (not for long) and am running stock boost. I will be getting a full 3" mandrel bent custom exhaust w/magnaflow mufflers this week.

All in all, all I can say was this was an exhausting but great experience and i'm glad I did it. Big thanks to my homies Eugene and Mor and to all you guys here at CL, you know who you are.

aaaaaahhh im so jealous! i wish i had the technical knowhow to pull off a swap like this! I'm going to give doin a Solid Axle Swap on a 1988 Chevy S10 4x4 first..kinda get my welding and custom fab bearings back(its been a LONG time since i've picked up a welder). Then its getting a 205 gear drive transfer case and a tbi 350 in place of the tbi 262. using a Dana 44 front and probably a 12 bolt rear Are you retaining the stock differential?

Ya I remember I was looking at your thread a while back before you deployed. IIRC you were having some sputtering issues right before you left.

Let me know if you still have those issues, I got all my wiring sorted out and since im a 95 5spd like you it may help you.

Clutch is officially broken in and did a WOT run...

Tires broke loose when turbos spooled in second.

I ran against my younger brothers stock g37 6 speed and in second gear I had around 2 cars on him...

1J ftw
