Default Interior question

Sorry for noob question searched but didn't know what to call part I just need to know if I can remove this part without taking out whole dash looks like you can but just trying to make sure

u definitely do not need to remove the dash.... you can tell just by looking at the center console over there.

do you have an auto or manual? it's very very easy! probably done it 12 times.

-Remove Shifter
-Pull plastic that surrounds shifter
- take screws out
-pull that piece out
-unscrew radio and pull out
-unscrew the piece you are trying to get out.

don't forget also that.. there's a false bottom inside the armrest, remove it and you'll see about 3 screws to remove. If you have the in-car phone then you'll have to take that out as well.
