sounds like you picked out the right girl - do her right and propose. you'd lose more in letting her go, so do yourself a favor and hang on to her.

Buy a house (if you haven't already) and focus all your attention on that instead of your car.
i do have a house...but the mods i wanna do on my SC is much cheaper than a kitchen remodel, bathroom upgrade, or a 900 sq addition!

Stop looking at cool cars, so you'll have fewer ideas for mods. Thats usually always my problem. I see something on a completly different car and want to incorporate it onto mine.

Goodluck!
single guys take notice - this one here's a rare catch. can keep up with your SC vice, keep your spending in check, and seems to have a healthy dose of self control, which, we all know, us dudes don't have.

or you can always buy a classic car with matching vins then you wont mod a thing on it just keeping it up to date and in good shape or buy a exotic then mods will be out of your pockets reach like my 360 modena

i agree with the cards, those are pure evil. I have deduced that if your a car guy its not a modding bug, it will never leave you. I think its more of a genetic defect because no matter what my brain says I shouldn't buy my hand just pulls out the cash. Could be connected to a neurological disorder. hahaha

Build over time. Collect parts, then wait... and buy one piece AT A TIME
(unless... you're getting a really GOOD deal!) <-my sin

I think the biggest problem is when you pick up a Modified, DSPORT, Import Tuner, SuperStreet or Honda Tuning magazine and you see a sweet *** ride with a TON of wonderful JDM goodies and the mag says: "Build time - 8 months"

R U kidding Me!?!?! I've owned my SC for 5 years! My integra for 10!!

Be realistic... try to pay for everything in cash unless its over the internet - then use Paypal from your bank account. Get a credit card from Shell/BP so you can get rewards on gas(5%) and use that for internet purchases. You'll thank me when gas $ goes back up.

dont go on forums at all.. that way it will cut back from looking at the fs threads and looking at other ppls cars. once you see somebody else car you feel depressed and wanna add somethign new to your car which involves money lol.. ill admit im addicted to the mod bug... im married with children and every time i have money left over from something i try to put it towards my car hahah.. best bet is to stay away from the car forums.

I think i'm the worst one in this forum. 2 days ago i watched http://www.motorator.com/videos/36

Now i got some crazy ideas in my head i cant stop thinking about modding my car, my mind says "you can make your sc300 just like those super cars" i know it will never happend , but i get this rush and i feel like i can do it,especialy when i drink too much caffeine lol

could this be natural human creativity? i mean i was playing with leggos for over 10 years and everytime i was building race cars now its the same thing only i'm getting closer to reality lolololol yet i'm loosing the reality of my family and my daily life.

those things dont work..trust me..lol

you cant "kick" the modding addiction..you put a hobby in its place, it will cost just as much depending on what it is..kids dont stop the bug, I have 2 as well, and they seem to encourage it cause they laugh everytime they feel boost and I get a kick out of it.

best thing to do, is just save, and when you have enough, buy a bunch of crap right away, then save again..then repeat, and repeat again till your satisfied..

I'm just getting started with my car..and when I am finished with it, I'll sell it and start over with another car just like I have for the last 12yrs ..I say enjoy it now before your too old and having to spend money on Viagra and bladder control medications
