have a kid! that's what slowed me down lol..
i went from
a bunch of modded Integra's, Civics, then moving
on to owning a 95 sc300 with a auto 1jz swap, Tein.... and a 95 sc300 full 97 exterior, black interior 5speed, volks, CF parts, HKS, Greddy..
to owning a stock GS430 and a Camry

Hobbies dont work. I used to have a home studio, making music and recording people. I tried to kick the car addiction, but i ended up with two addictions. In summer i used to blow my money on my car, and when winter came i spend the money on my studio. Man, was i broke.
I finaly realized that i need to get rid of one, so i kept the car and sold my studio. But after we had a baby i cant even dream of spending over $50 on my car, unless its mainetenance or if its broke down.
I've been doing the free mods lately though ,they are fun.

Kick the mod bug? if you can downgrade your views in life..
example: at one point, I had all my cars in the shop at one time and I needed a car to drive for a week. I rented a car... they gave me a Kia Spectra and Chevy Aveo.. I drove both cars that week and when you sit in a car that has ZERO and i mean ZERO! potential to add aftermarket parts or mods stuff you think to yourself WOW.. look at all the money i could spend if i didnt care what i drove...
Sell your cars buy something with ZERO! portential for mods... even a camry can look VIP with the right setup.. i mean pick up that Kia or Chevy eco car! =) no temptation to mod if you dont have a car that is moddable!
but the at the end of the week i was begggin to get back in one of my other cars.

Are you serious??? Why would you even ask such a question??? Once you start down this trail, be it the "Dark Side", or the "Road to Enlightenment", you never stop modding or totally lose the bug, that is, as long as you are breathing and in good health.
