Thumbs up DIY front plate holder, No drilling!!! total cost, Less than 10 bucks!

hey guys so i thought the front plate in the center is totally lame and i wanted to put mine off to the side... but i dont want to drill my front bumper. so i made this simple DIY for every one.

parts needed,

aluminum flat bar
and 4 screws....

there are some metal peices with clips in the top part of the bumper vents that help hold the bumper. first cut the aluminum flat bar in two. and decide where you are mounting it. drill holes to match the metal peices and so the clips can fit through the hole. attach the aluminum flat bar to the bumper using the metal rod and clips, have the aluminum flat bar touching the bumper then the original metal rod and the clip going through both. like this.

decide how you want the license plate to be sitting and bend the aluminum flat bar accordingly. i wanted mine off to the side but facing straight. i held the aluminum flat bar with two pieces of metal on the top and bottom so then i can heat it with a torch and bend them.

here is what i ended up with. 3 screws should hold the plate steady

lets rock and roll! damn cops take that!!! very sturdy and i think it looks fantastic-o!

hahahha thats where i had mine, this is alot better, less *****ing from the piggies, and you can mount it however you like. can be made to fit the center or the passenger side. i put mine in the driver side cause my side mount is on my passenger side.

I wonder if that will impact your Coefficient of drag.
