Default Any painters in Houston, Tx? Will these CCW Classics fit my SC300?

I'm going to be repainting my SC300 and would like someone cheap/good to spray the car. I plan to sand, prep, wet sand, buff and pay for the the best quality paint. I will post a build of my car on here and supraforums resulting in free recognition for the painter.

Second question. I'm putting CCW Classics on the car, there is a set for sale on SF, and I don't know if they will fit. If anyone can assist me I'd be forever grateful. It's no problem to pull/clip the fenders as it needs paint anyways.

Those are some very high offsets. And why do you want to put 17" wheels on the back and 18" wheels on the front?

And again, why 18 in front and 17 in back?
That's what the Supra guys do.

Look and see how many different kinds of drag radials are made in 18".

Then look and see how many kinds of drag radials are made in 17".

There's your answer.

To the OP, I seriously doubt those are the correct offsets...

CCW doesn't usually give out their offsets.

Do you have a link to the FS thread?

Yeah, I've been reading about the offsets and I don't know why they would be that high. I also read that CCW will tell you the generic supra offset-I've yet to see what it actually is. The supra is pretty close to the SC in terms of offset I believe? It also seems the rims would be hitting the shock like crazy. Here's the thread.

Edit: Further reading is leading me to believe the supra offset is less aggressive. Somewhere around 50mm.

Like upinthelex said It's for traction purposes. Width helps with the contact patch but the height of the tire helps equally as much for traction. That's why dragster have thick *** tires and aren't running JDM Tyte rubber band for tires.

I would personally prefer 17's all around, mainly because the tires are cheaper and when I hit a crack in the road I don't cringe as bad.

The pics don't really help because you can't see the width of the wheel in relation to the lip.

Why buy from the seller?? You can get BRAND NEW ccw's for nearly the same coin.

Plus those are gorgeous, but I hope you like polishing wheels. I'd defiantly get the brushed anodized bright silver over those. WAAAY less maintenance.

If the offsets are, in fact, correct would a 25mm spacer bring them back to nearly optimal specs-if so does size of a spacer pose a performance risk to wheel bearings or anything else?

I'm trying to be cheap here and save roughly $600-700 on used rims.

Should I stop being a cheap MF'er and buy new rims?

You answered my question in my ninja edit.

Yeah, trying to keep each single mod lower than the price of the entire car is probably a logical choice.

Well, thats how I felt... I paid $700 for my SC400..126,000 miles, white.. etc.. And paid $700 for my sc300.. So, the way I see it is... More money for modifications, and less money on price of vehicle..LoL Save money in the long run.

LOL!! I just spit out my beer!

I have the same damn problem!

I'm running 19x8 et30 cast wheels, the privat netz, through the winter, I'll end up getting something super tight this spring or summer.

Droppin 2-3 g's on wheels seems silly to me right now... but it doesn't stop me from looking for the right set every single day...
