IMO because the car has such low mileage keep the stock engine and do any and all maintanence possible + possibly have internals cleaned since you have 10k do it right.
then go na-t with a turbonetics kit or a kit specifically designed for the sc300/supra meaning pretuned and everything.
then since you have all the dough just have the whole car looked over by a lexus mechanic but im sure with 60k miles you good.
with all i mentioned youll have plenty left over and probably 1 of the sickest sc300s in the USA

I had no idea there were turbo kits that came pretuned...
Maintenance #1, I dont care how low the mileage is, and that is some extremely low miles for the year! congrats.
Suspension, coilovers are ideal, but I'm an outsider and prefer springs/shocks
Rims, this is starting to look alot like P.R.S.'s post, BUT>>
NA-T then the exhaust cause your downpipe could throw the exhaust alignment off by 1/4 or 1/2'', just make sure you get good quality parts.
then 97+ converison, and blah blah..
me personally, I would dump the $10k in to the engine alone, then worry about looks and everything else later, but dont do that..maintenance first..you have a beautiful SC that could easily last another 15yrs..keep us posted

1. Maintenance (fluids, belts, spark plugs, etc)
2. Suspension (Coliovers, bushings, sway bars, etc)
3. Wheels (SSR, WORK, WEDS, etc.)
4. Exhaust (5zigen, HKS, Greddy, etc)
5. Interior? (Upgrade Sound System, Seats?, etc)
6. Exterior? (kit, 97+ conversion, etc)
I would hold off on doing major motor work since it only has 60k miles.
Remember... power is nothing without control. Suspension > Motor.

.....hmmmm soo many choices....with 60K (16 y/o car) I'd do bushings, tune up, etc...then suspension, rims.......then keep the rest in the bank for when your SC have ticky tacky little things you need to fix as you drive it daily....

that's the way we do it in cali lol. but really get yourself a good suspension setup, rims, exhaust, new seats, and TT/LS400 brakes. and me myself, i would smoke the taillights just cuz it'd look nice

hey guys thanks for all your input. so ive been thinking and taking everything into consideration. i believe for now i will keep it mostly stock and take care of little things here and there (maintenance, headlights, tinting, that sorta stuff, and maybe suspension) and do the bigger thinks (NA-T, exhaust, etc) later when I get out of school and have a better income. anyways thanks for all your help and ill keep you guys posted as the build goes on.

if you look around for good deals you can get coils, some decent rims, 97+ tails, ls400 BBK, and cleaner headlights for around $1,600.
That's how much it cost me when I had my old SC.
and invest the rest of the money, unless you are fully aware that the 10 grand you throw in this car will never come back to you in any way, shape, or form. it will just put a smile on your face but a hole in your wallet.
