Wall base? Like wood?
Sounds like its not gonna hold up. But it does look good!
THANKS!!! haha nope wall base as in VINYL/RUBBER piece you see in restaurants with tile floors not the wooden ones you see in your room haha. I wanted to check the durability before I posted....so it stayed on and had kept its form after couple of months of driving from inner streets and highway driving (80-100mph). I do scrape it.....but it doesn't ache my heart since it cost me a total of 5 dollars to make it and I know I can just respray it.
Durability was the key...I didn't want it to warp or form waves after drives so I glued 14 gauge metal duct hanger strap or you can use metal garden dividers with heavy duty black silicone (same stuff I used when I cleared my 95-96 tails). This makes it rigid yet flexible enough to manipulate around the bumper, then I screwed it to underneath the bumper with regular screws with washers....I'll let you know if it holds up after the snow storm though...it's getting crazy out here......these are not the stuff I used but just to get a fill on the materails I used.
Dude, that is Bad@ss! Where the hell did you get the how-to?!
Thanks! I just sorta did it myself...it was a pain to wrap it around the bumper by myself though haha

Man that is an awesome deal!!! If I was able to find one for that price I would ****** it....but not many SCs in junk yards located in Colorado so I've yet to find one....

I would if weather and time permits....maybe next time when OneJay is back in colorado...but that's up to him haha. $5 was for paint as I have the other materials in the garage...not sure how much it would be total....probably $10-$30.

I don't see why not because it's flexible enough for you to bend around the bumper. It's true that 92 and 95+ bumpers are different but if 92 OEM lip can be added to 95+ ones then it should be interchangeble. Then again, this is just a mimic of the OEM lip, if you find an OEM for decent price take it

Thanks! I'll try to get some...when weather permits, but I'll tell you right now that OEM looks better hahaha. All kidding aside...I'll try to rethink some steps and improve it before I attempt to do a DIY or anything of that nature.
At first I wanted to use heavy duty 3m double sided tape like many have used for lip kits...but it was a pain to do by myself so I just screwed it to the bottom of the front bumper with regular outdoor screws with washers so that it doesn't tear the vinyl/rubber....
