ok i found an sc300 for 9k, it's 5spd, and a 92, it has 85k miles on it, but the problem is, is it needs an a/c compressor, and recharge of refrigerant, how much would that run? is this price worth it??? if not tell me a better one so i can see if i can get this lady to lower her price

you can find em for 8k elsewhere with working A/Cs

ask for 8k since you gotta fix the A/C

it appears to be in good shape on the outside, im going to check it out tonight, and i'll talk to the lady about the price, b/c a non working ac with summer coming up is a big problem, i hope i can talk her down, b/c that would be great, i would suffer w/o an a/c for a little while. But i know i'll probably say the wrong thing, how much does an a/c cost to replace for one of these? and plus labor cost, it should add up to around 1000 right?

go by the lexus dealership and ask them

they'll give you an outrageously high price; get it on a quote sheet or something; show the lady... then tell her you'll cut her a deal; and ask some price higher than it would be if you just subtracted the quoted A/C cost off the 9k

that's a very good idea, now if we only had a lexus dealer here in town =\ we don't have one to my knowledge and to any1 elses knowledge, so nowwwwwwwwwwwww where should i go to get that quote? there's bmw, vw, and mercedes dealership? should i go to them? or go to the toyota place?

go to a toyota dealership -- the Supra N/A has the same engine, i'm sure they could give you a similar quote. The only problem is, they might be cheaper!

yea, i don't have a fax but ill give you the number to my mom's office so she can give it to me, ill give you the fax number tonight, and ill go to the lady on friday, and show her the quote for it. and get her down, but your right i've been looking at them and that does seem just a little to much for a 92, but hopefully she'll come down, ty
