Need recommendation on mechanic in Raleigh/Durham area for '92 SC300 Engine Rplcmnt
Thanks to everyone helping me find a replacement engine for my 1992 SC300. I think I've found an engine, just need a good mechanic who can drop in the new engine and not rip me off! :-) My son has the car in NC and I live in GA. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks,
Tom

Will this be a straight replacement? If so from the 1-9th of November I wil be taking leave and working on my SC400, I might be able to do an engine replacement in a day or so. I live in Zebulon NC about 20 miles west of Raleigh. I used to work at Johnson Lexus but, now I am in the USAF and work out of Goldsoro(I joined to travel....ha).
If you want a shop to do it though. My previous employer T.A. Newsome does quick engine replacements at a really good price. He used to be a mechanic for the North Carolina Tractor Pull Classic. He is a bit up there in age but it shouldnt take him longer than 2 days to get this done right.(919)497-6176 is his number, when you talk to him tell him Justin Barber sent you, you will get bumped in his scheduling and he might alter the price a bit.
