Hi: My driver's side window regulator pooched yesterday. I got it out without too much drama. (Thanks O.L.T.!)The white plastic part which is the usual culprit was broken in several places. It died with a resounding "boom".
I think I'll replace the whole regulator unit if Lexus Canada stocks the part at a reasonable price. LOL. So, when I inevitably look at other alternatives, I need to know if the I buy a complete used unit from a later year, will it fit?
So - Two Questions:
1) It is a driver's side from 1992. I dug up a part number of 69802-24033 but there was some dispute on the thread because the part number was for a "L", which could be driver's side or passenger side, depending on how you look at it. Is this the correct part number?
2) I am attempting to upload a picture showing the front (facing interior) view of my regulator. It only had 2 fasteners at the top, whereas O.L.T. indicated there were three on his. Does anyone know if the later (1994+) versions will fit right in or what needs to be done?
Your help is appreciated.
