The idea is there, but it looks pretty bad as it sits. Sand that down a couple more times till its smooth, then throw a layer of bondo on it. Sand that down, repeat 2 more times, prime it, paint with color of choice, and then you might have something.

Just trying to give you a heads up...

i like how people are still talkin **** about the gauges after i already said 1. they were free 2. i have autometer ultraLite gauge on the way. but whatever.

I like it for the creativity. I'm not going to judge it since I can't tell from just that angle, but I do like your idea of angling the gauges to make them readable, cuz that was a concern of mine. Plus 1 for the engineering. Now just cosmetic part
