I was just wondering if a set of 1995 sc300 headlamps (housing) would fit in my 1992 sc400's spot? Perfect fit? Or...

yeah, they bolt right in. from '92 till 96 all the tail lights are interchangeable. but the 97+ require the 97+ rear bumper i believe.

the 97+ rear bumper is a little different, but the 97+ tails will fit into the pre 97 rear.


and yes, your headlamps will work fine. They may even have the same part numbers. If they don't no big -- they'll work perfect anyways.

I forgot to mention they are the front headlamps.
95 to 92... sc300 to sc400

I'm going to undertake the headlamp cleaning process soon!
I have everything except for the 3m Swirl Remover.
But I have Turtle Wax Swirl and Scratch Remover... We'll see!

Hey guys!
I just worked for 3 hours and had little progress in getting the headlight separated.

I heat the light in the oven for 15 mins until its warm. then i shoot it with the heat gun. but then that toyota adhesive stuff dries so fast! I can't pry it open in time!

can anyone give me some pointers please?
i need help!

Hmmm, it's very easy for me to get them apart, you shouldn't have a problem, are you getting the adhesive soft enough?

When the adhesive is "runny" do you just pull them apart?

My method is to head the general headlamp. Then concentrate on spots and "pry" the lense away from the housing.

How do you do it Lex?
