Hey guys Im moving back to the US here in December and Im buying a 1996 sc400 Im told that this model has air-bag suspenchion and that the 300 does not, can someone explain the the differances between the 2 models chasie wize. Are parts from the 300 interchangable with the the 400, Ill take any infor you guys can toss at me.

It shouldn't have air bags unless its aftermarket.

It could be an overseas models that had the adjustable suspension

so US models have sprins and struts just like the 300's then, are the 300's and 400's the same other than the engine? Im mostly concerned with the suspenchion... Ive been saving my money for a while and I just sold my other sports car. Im planning on building a singal turbo sc400 hoping to produce 800+ when Im done with it... Ill take any tech info on the sc400 you guys got to offer.

I think, and anyone correct me if im wrong, that ur better off supercharging an sc400, if u wanna go turbo get an sc300

sc 300 and 400 are basically the same except the drive train. SC 400 have only automatic trans bigger brakes and V8's while the SC 300 are auto or manual smaller brakes and an inline 6 other than that and prob a few minor other things its the same exact car US Spec

don't listen to kingluis, you can turbo your 1UZ too if you want to =D. Its been done but its much different. Gl with gas ><. IMO the 1UZ turboed is buffffffffff

Keep us posted in what you choose to do.. You cant wrong in either direction.. Or buy the SC400 and drive the heck out of it..

well good to know, and Ya im buying a 400, I just sold my 280zx with a rb25det swap I know my straight 6's and I know the 1jz and 2jz engines pretty good but I want something bigger and better thats why im buying a 400, I plan on doing a singal turbo set up I have a new HOLSET H1E in my basment that I plan on using, as far as gas goes im not conserned it will not be a daily driver, after the build im hoping the car will scare me to much to drive it more than the weekends =D Looking foor big boost and when were done with the Tranny hopfully a paddel shifter set up who knows yet on that tho but I dont see a problem with 800+ hp.

Ill post pics of the Build when I start here in december and Ill post pics of the car I endup with. THanks guys.
