Default cruising rpms?

I was wondering what rpm some of yalls sc4s run at when doing between 65-85? Reason im asking is i dont think my torgue converter is lockin up when im cruising cause im running between 2500 and 3500 when crusing in those speeds with OD on.

really? thats kinda high i think. most v8s that ive drivin run about 2 when cruising steady around 70, but you def know more about this car than me.

OD off @ those speeds = 4500-5000 rpm cruising...lol

ya i know. i just found that odd cause thats fairly high for that speed.

Its just the gearing. Pop in a 3.73 or a 3.26.... Then you will be getting a lot better gas mileage!

also keep in mind our v8 is only a 4.0 liter. they make 6's bigger than that, so its not like a 5.7 liter that cruises at 2k rpm ya know...

ya i understand the 4.0L thing. Pheonix do you know where i can get a set of 3.73s for a non outrageous price?
