i have a lil 93 mazda protege which is rated at like 100-105 hp. when my SC was stock the protogay seems faster... quite a bit faster. mainly because the protogay is like a tin can and weighs like 2000 pounds compared to my boat that is badged a lexus

Granted... the SC400 is supposed to run a 15.7 if I remember correctly... With your basic mods, probably looking at a 15.5ish if your car is up to par.

Also remember how much each car weighs... However I really dont see that Celica pulling a 16.5 1/4 time lol...

Realistically my celica probably doesn't put out 105 HP anymore either, even though it only has 42600 miles on it, i bet it doesn't. I was using numbers based off build sheets. Not actual numbers.

I am still standing at the position that this little Celica could give my SC a run for it money.

I had an 84 Celica GTS 5 speed and it ran great plus got like 35 mpg. I LOVED that car. Very light, very agile, LOADED with features.

Haha I never said it wouldnt.. I am saying that the SC3/4 are slower stock than people realize. Its a highway car.

Are you also taking into account what altitude you are at? I ran a 16.2 when i should be running mid 15's, but that's at over 2000ft above sea level.
