What years had the additional brake light on the subwoofer cover?

What years had the additional brake light on the subwoofer cover?
Just as the subject said, Ive noticed some cars dont have this thanks
Is this an older or newer style?
And if you get rid of it could you unplug it with no lights on the dash for missing brakes?

Do newer lexus cars have this there if they dont have a spoiler?
Im trying to decide if its modern or not to have it there, I have a stock spoiler with led light that I added on and this so its pretty overkill

If you unplug it, it will show a yellow light on the cluster with an icon that looks like a light is out. I have the wing added to my 94 SC300 and have the stock high mount rear deck 3rd brake light unplugged and use the spoiler instead and have that problem...

I see, Ive got that light on my dash and I cant figure it out. No bulbs are out anywhere...
Do the newer Lexus vehicles have this brake light on them ?
I think it kind of looks outdated no?
