Default Project 98 Super Cilver

Hi, I just purchased a 98 SC300 from a member here. I will be dailying the car until I finish my previous project, a 2004 Accord v6 Coupe. All the work will be done by projectimport.com You can check out pictures of my accord on there as well in the gallery.

So Far I've purchased for the SC:

Tein Basic's for toyota Supra with top hats.
SSR Type F's in custom powdercoated 18x8.5 +30 F, and 18x10.5 +25 R
They will be wrapped with for now 245/40, 275/35
The fenders will be agressively rolled for now until the accord is done.
I will be installing a double-din screen and a nice sound system.

Future Mods:
Vertex Ridge Wide Body. (thanks to tony @ Luxurymods.com)
255/40 in front, and 295-305/35 in the rear.
2jzgte VVt-i 6Speed Getrag
GT28 twin turbo kit
custom front mount and piping/intake
rod bolts, head studs, adjustable cams
3.5" turbo back custom Titanium exhaust
Stoptech 6PF, and 4PR.
DEFi Gauges
OS Giken LSD
looking to make 600whp with a mild tune.

Everything looks great! One question though, why are you going with the VVT-I GTE versus the non VVT-I GTE?

because I have a 98, vvt-i equipped vehicle. plus i'll be making more horsepower with it. With a full standalone it will yield better gains and gas mileage at the same time.

I would never sell the accord. It would put car lengths on some of you guys right now, its nice comfy, and paid off. Plus I have a 3.5L that will be going in it with a M90. Should see anywhere between 400-450whp when it's done. It's putting down 300+-/whp/tq right now.

What kind of powerplant bud? Don't tell me 1JZ cause I already have a few of those laying around.. I already have a 2JZ-GTE VVT-i in mind and it won't be satisfying unless.. it's one of those.

I hear you but if you're doing a full swap what does it being a VVT-I equipped vehicle have to do with it?

Also, I have to disagree with your making more horsepower with it but hey not trying to start a debate here. Good luck with your build and can't wait to see the final project!

nice list. i love when people buy Quality mods.

and i know those SSR Type F's cost you a pretty penny.

i just sold my old set last month. didnt think they looked quite right on an SC.

anyway.. cant wait to see more pics of your build.
