Hi all, I notice my belt is making squeak noise. My previous owner changed timing belt at 120k, now I have 135k. I dont have time to look inside the hood yet but maybe next week when I have time, I'll tune up my engine.
meanwhile, any idea what's wrong with belt?

Are you sure its the belt and not a component like the water pump?

There are a lot of moving parts in the same general area that can make noise....

you're right, I should have said, noise coming from the belt area. may not be the belt.
I just open the hood while engine is on, and I only noticed the belt is moving so I thought that was it. I'll look into more detail.
