Default Water swishing noise

I was just wondering if it is normal to hear a water swishing noise coming from my trunk when I hit the brakes kind of hard? I hear it all the time and I checked back there for a trunk leak or water in there and there isn't any water anywhere. I noticed however, the gas tank is in the trunk so could that be where the noise is coming from?

Check for water in your trunk (SCs sometimes leak). If it is dry then it is your gas tank. It is located right behind your rear seat and I assume you would hear it if you let your tank get low.

i have never heard the petrol in my tank sloshing about so i can only assume that the soarer is better insulated than the sc300/sc400 infact it is the most insulated car from outside noises i have ever owned.

I have had multiple SC300s and they all have made this noise.
I currently have the rear deck removed so I can work on the stereo and the sound is 5x louder...
It is 100% your gas in the tank!

Okay, cool thanks guys. I was just making sure because I checked for water back there and didn't see anything so I figured it was the gas tank. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one that heard this noise!

+1 for gas tank...

Sometimes though, I swear I hear sloshing inside my dash...

If the heater core leaks will it run down the cowl or just fill up the heater box?
