All 5spd parts will cost you almost a grand or more but the transmission alone i've seen range from 300-500. These transmissions are not expensive at all, but as time goes on they are getting more rare.

im not to worried about maintanence, i love these cars, they are fun to drive. im willing to build a car and put money into it. that is the reason my 350 for the most part is stock, i owe like 17k on the car but insurance per year is nearly 4000 dollars. and that is killing me, ive wanted a boosted car forever. the most i drive to work is like 4 miles round trip if i stop to get ciggerettes.
are there any other suggestions on cars i should i get. i would like to stay in the toyota family. but i would love to stay in the lexus family.

SC's are cheap now and there are plenty of mint ones rolling around by older wealthy folks.
I would suggest that you get a 1997+ so that it will save you the headache of sourcing body parts when you buy a body kit for it someday. Taillights, fogs, door moldings, etc can add up.

haha i would be down to swap with anyone if they wanna pay off the car because kbb is about 25k the difference of the car would be about 7500-8k so it would be worth it to swap and tranfer payments if someone had the money.
vinh- where would i even look for those trannies. if its only gunna cost that much i might as well do it ya know.

Lip kit I say go vertex or big win. Autocouture looks good too but it's full bumpers
