Sup I'm thinking about doing a 97+ conversion on my sc400. It has a body kit on it, some people like it and others don't, but lately the kit makes me feel like I stand out too much and want to tone it down. And also thinking about taking off that pin stripe that really bugs me. Tell me what you guys think if I should keep the way the car is or do a conversion.

yea loose the pinstripe, it reminds me of those silly cars w/ chrome trim on all the body lines.
As for the body kit, i'm not a big fan. The angles just don't flow well with the car's lines and the front is too wide. A body kit with less subtle lines and less angles would look better. Go 97+

removing pinstripe is easy, peel it with your nail and pull it all up slowly and it all comes off together...then at walmart in the auto section buy adhesive remover by 3m to take the residue off and youll be set
Thats how I removed the stock one

The only thing good about the Do-Luck kit is the rear wing and I also like the rear bumper, but the sides and the front are like an extreme mismatch. I suggest you go for the 97 look - it's more classy and simple.
