Default Rice, not rice, just dumb, or do it

I have a couple thoughts on things I could do with my car. I'd like to know people's opinions on them.

-Painting the engine bay a dark blue (inside only. the exterior of the car will be black)
-Car computer to run media and gauges
-Internal car lighting (changing back lighting on gauges and stuff)
-Welding a piece of metal over the stock antenna hole and then grind and paint
-De badge
-Blacked out headlights and tails ( http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-5006790...2081_913934428 and http://www.carid.com/images/led-tail.../THL-41076.jpg )

A few other thoughts crossed the mind but this is all I've remembered as of now. I'll probably think of more later.

I like it all except the blacking out lights and engine bay. Engine bay one might be ok though.. I'd have to see it to decide

Engine bay would be something along these lines

What's the turn-off with the lights?
Lastly, I'm probably going to experiment with under dash lighting as well since it's simple and cheap.

It would probably be best if you're going for a show car look.

Blacking out lights just doesn't look right IMO

unless it's a black car...which his will be. The color is not the problem IMO, it's the design...they look a little too busy for the smooth lines of the SC. There's a couple of pictures you can search if you want to see how they would look on the car. Personally, I think it's terrible....but different strokes for different folks.

I don't really like the 3 led's at the top much, but I enjoy the halo part i guess.
Maybe I'll modify them.

I think the tail lights would look pretty good as they come though.

I'm sure you'd get flamed on here for those tails, just being honest. Screams rice

Makes it better. In the end it's your car.. don't let others tell you what to do. Just expressing personal opinion. Can't wait to see the other stuff! Good luck building

1. Engine bay painting - will match the black on the exterior... go for it! And while you're at it, paint your engine spark plug cover the same color as well.

2. Those ebay lights look horrible! I'm sure a majority would agree with me. Instead, for the tail lights, paint only the top turn signals orange section to black and leave the rest.

Post a pic of your car btw.

Instead of blacking the lights out, why not try the option racing black house projectors? (i didnt see your link) i have seen a match for the fog lights as well. As for the engine bay, i cannot see any pictures but leaving it black and doing a dress up to blue? and gage lighting, i would love to just know what to get for that, i am having a load of trouble finding that.

Check the sc on the left side of this image. its pretty nice...

on another note for the interior lighting, i just bought some blue led's to replace the stock dome, map, and courtesy lights, with the black interior upgrade.... thats one nice interior. If anyone wants to know its about 20 bucks online for the led kit. And they are high quality just search for "JDM Lighting".

Ehhh.. it might look ok, but I'd pass.
-Car computer to run media and gauges
I don't know much about this mod so I can't say.
-Internal car lighting (changing back lighting on gauges and stuff)
Do it up - just don't make it a ricey neon green or something
-Welding a piece of metal over the stock antenna hole and then grind and paint
Do it. That thing's a pain in the *** to wax around
-De badge
Ehh.. blacking out the badges is a better idea imo, depending on other mods.
-Blacked out headlights and tails ( http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-5006790...2081_913934428 and http://www.carid.com/images/led-tail.../THL-41076.jpg )
Both those heads and tails are awful looking. Just black out the housing on the stock headlights and buy some 95+ tails.

My opinions.

You need an extremely nice engine set up to successfully rock a seperately painted engine bay
