+1 on the carfax. Just get th VIN asap and look it up. Ask for any maintenance records. If the title is clean and there are no signs of an accident then buy it.

Sorry I'm gonna have to go with the old saying. "if it sounds too good to be true it usually is".

So what doesnt make sense is your "getting" this car and those details are a bit cryptic and your gonna unload it quickly for only $4000ish? Sounds a bit shady on both parts I'd check title seriously and investigate lineage of the car. As a buyer from you I'd be skeptical of someone who is "flipping" a car so quickly and who is not a dealer.
