That kit has pretty good fitment. Im thinking about getting this kit now, my body shop said they would not put a kit on that needs to be exteneded or had horrible fitment which is why i have been putting off buying a kit because i didnt want to get a crappy one. But looks good i say.

Ok,

ive been calling body shops, and right now im leaning on taking back to the place I got the kit to have it painted.

FML, I could of just saved the time and effort in driving the kit home if im gonna do that. Could of just dropped off my car and paid for the kit. Then pay for the body work after when I pick up the car!

Still trying to decide though.

Congratulations on the purchase and I am pretty sure you will be satisfied with the purchase.

Here are some of my advice.

My sideskirts line up with the car correcty fits supertight and my shop fitted on the ghetto way by making notches on it on the inside. The proper way to do it is to shave down the side that needed to be shaved and compensate the removed material by adding on some fiberglass on the opposite side. Not a big deal really. In comparison Some of the knock off vertex ones literally has to be cut in half and extended! And the worst part is that it still looks like crap afterwards.

The rear bumper holes are off but thats not big deal.

Also the rear bumper, like the real kit, does not have cutouts for the license plate light. Just be aware of that. Try getting rivet nuts to mount the rear license plate instead of screwing it in.

The metal bracket for the weather stripping for the front bumper might need some modifications to fit.

The foglight tabs need to be extended.

If you have any other questions refer to my thread where I documented some of the fixes or pm me

Last but not least, get some new 1997+ tails!
