Smile Happy new HID owner

Thought I post this just in case some of you are unsure about getting an HID kit (or which one).

I just installed my new 'serious vision' HID kit, made by Lltek (http://www.lltek.com) and I'm REALLY happy with it. Installation was a snap, especially because of about 2 feet of cable between the starter and the ballast (they claim this is pretty unique and brand new, don't know if that's true though).
The kit fits the SC perfectly. At first, I only installed the HID kit on one side, to check the cutoff. It's exactly the same as the original halogen, just A LOT brighter. It's got a nice purple / greenish hue, which I think looks pretty similar to the S2000.

The lights are illegal here (gotta have auto-levelling to be legal). But I already encountered numerous police cars, no problem so far. I guess it really looks like OEM. Also, whether going uphill, downhill, straight or whatever - not a single oncoming car flashed at me so far.

To make a long story short - I'm really happy with my purchase and can recommend this kit any time. It looks good, enhances night vision and is very simple to install. And no, I'm in no way affiliated with Lltek.

could you post some pics of the cut off line? Put the headlights @ about 25ft away, I'm curious to see the looks of it. Congrats on the setup. Glad you like it.

Still didn't have the time to get a digi cam, so no pics yet. Hoping to be able to post within a few weeks.

I checked the cutoff (one side HID, other side OEM halogen) from about 5, 10 and 20 feet and it was exactly the same from any distance. Only difference was that the cutoff from the HID's was more pronounced than the one from the halogens.

Do you have a Soarer or a US spec SC400?

I just bought euro spec lights for my Audi S6 and the lenses and cut off hight are different.

Also which model or P/N did you get?

It's a US spec SC400. I don't think there's a part No. for the kit. I got it from here:

Shipping was VERY slow though!
