the a/c compressor in my friends sc400 goes off and on by itself when he turns on the a/c....but, when he signals right, the a/c works fine...but it goes off and on even if he signals left......what could this be? checked all fuses.....

i had a problem like that in my sc300 not too long ago. I was driving on the highway with the ac on and i noticed that it wasent really cold anymore. almost like it was turned off. but as soon as i exited the interstate i looked at the ac button and the light below it to indicate that the ac is on was blinking. so i hit it to turn it off, but when i turned it back on my car made this horrable grinding noise. Never happined again so i did not worry about it too much.
