Hey, i saw this picture in the back of a magazine and scanned it in to see what you guys thought. This car looks like it has the SC headlights and possibly a bomex kit?? Well anyway I just wanted to show everyone this crazy looking car. The quality of the pic probably isn't great so sorry about that.

The front fender looks to be too squared-off to be an SC. There's no sidemarker light either. All SCs came with sidemarkers and the SC Bomex kits accomodate them. Also I thought all SC Bomex kits had the '97 front grille? Regardless, there is clearly not enough space for an upper front grille, which screams of a Civic frame. SCs come with a light tint in the quarter and rear windshields. The hood also isn't trimmed like the SC. This car seems to be naked all around. My guess is it's a Civic DX coupe with a Del Sol Bomex front end or something. A bigger/better pic would help loads

I saw a Civic Del Sol with a GS front end at Hot Import Nights 2000 in the Oakland Cow Palace. It was hideously dis-proportionate and probably cost many many thousands to make.

Yeah it does seem like a sc imposter! The way i can tell is that the high beams are too close together... there's more of a spread b/w them on a real SC

The more I look at this picture the crazier it seems! Lex400sc, i thought your Civic prediction sounded pretty good. But here's a bigger picture (or at least my attempt) for those who wanted one.

I've taken A LOT of pics of my SC400 because I'm infatuated with it so I have a pretty good idea on how they look from all angles. Hell I even climbed on top of my roof to snap the pic in my sig! It's clear now that this car is too narrow and the profile is too tall to be an SC. The fact that it looks questionable at first glance makes it a clear imposter to me.

Am I hallucinating or does that license plate look like it says LEX***??? Identity crisis cars make me sick. Like that Hyundai GS400 manaray caught on his digicam. Makes me want to go out and print some 4-foot long stickers that read IDIOT so I can go out and have a field day with these guys.

I've seen that car before -- If it's the same car I saw, it's a honda prelude w/ a SC front end custom app. I stumbled onto their website a while ago, and I thought.... "Dear God, What Is That Thing"

What a waste.
