Yeah, there is enough room inward with stiffer suspension. With the 265r I was running, there was a barely a mm clearance to the plastic piece. Didn't know removing it would allow 275s. Either way, I think 275's are too fat for the rim visually. This is all with stock offsets.

A good all round tire for cruising and city driving. Stock suggests front and rears be 225/40/19 and 245/40/19 I think. Although how much worse would the comfort be with 245/35s?
I'd also love to know how the wheel sits and whether spacers are required, or fenders rolled for the stock tires.

In regards to tire and ride quality, well, that's always subjective. Generally speaking the lower the height the rougher the ride. If it was me though, I'd look at running a square setup and go with a 245/35 or 245/40 all around. This gives better handling and will allow you to rotate your tires resulting in longer life.
