SC Driver Killed in Wrong-Way Accident
Local news story. I know the article says a Lexus sedan, but from the picture and video it's definitely a Garnet SC coupe.
Another article identifies it as a 1993 Lexus.
The girl killed in the accident is actually my roommate's friend from high school.

RICHMOND (CBS 5 / BCN) ― A woman was killed on Interstate Highway 580 in Richmond early Monday morning after her Lexus sedan crashed head-on into a semi truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just before 12:30 a.m. on westbound Highway 580 just east of the Central Avenue exit, near the Alameda-Contra Costa county line.
Witnesses said the woman, identified as Danaz Salak, an 18-year-old San Rafael resident, was driving the wrong way on westbound Highway 580 when she crashed into a big-rig carrying a load of mail, CHP Officer Ralph Caggiano said. The truck was not a U.S. Postal Service vehicle.
Salak was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported, Caggiano said.
The big-rig began leaking diesel fuel after the crash, and westbound I-580 was shut down for nearly five hours. At 7:24 a.m., the CHP reopened all but one lane. As of 8:30 a.m., the left lane remained closed for clean-up.
Caggiano said it didn't appear that any nearby waterways had been polluted by the diesel spill.

RIP, but wrong way down the freeway at 12:30am? I think we all know what was going on there. Fortunately it was a semi and not a car with a family in it.
There have been quite a few of these in Dallas that killed innocent parties and it runs through my head ever time I get on the toll-way at night.
