did you tell them you have the same engine as the 1993.5-1998 N/A Supra -- 2JZ-GE?

I'm surprised they didn't want to take your $$.

I went to my toyota dealership and they analized a ignition problem for me... could fixed it, except I wasn't OBDII

Well this dealer also owns a Lexus dealership, they told me to take it to them. Maybe they just do that since they also own the Lexus dealer.

It could just be standard procedure for them to refer you to their better, pricier service center across the way. When I drove a Camry, I saw many Lexuses pull into the Toyota service bay. The guy is obviously full of crap because Lexus and Toyota use the same parts. Lexus parts are even wallpapered with "Genuine Toyota" all over the box. I remember going to the Lexus parts counter for a replacement H3 bulb, and the parts guy said if they didn't have two in stock, they could do a pick-up memo from the Toyota dealership across town.

all parts are "toyota labeled" and whenever i go aftermarket shopping such as rims, etc. i say that i have a toyota camry. that way they don't mark up their stupid prices because i drive a lexus. i hate when they do that!

I got quoted $587 to put my clutch from NOPI in. Thats right, put my new centerforce in. I called around saying it was a Toyota Supra and I got installation average of around $185. Strange how the most highly recommended guy was cheapest, $150. I always ask for the Supra quote now.

Here, the Lexus and the Toyota dealership are right next to each other, are in the same big huge parking lot. When you get your car serviced, you drive it to the Lexus place, then they drive it over to the parts/service department which is where they do the work to your car. I guess it's to make all of the Lexus owners feel "special." lol

And are there more than one official Lexus dealerships in your city? Here there is only one ( and I live in the capitol city), and they have a huge monopoly, every Lexus I see has there license plate frame on it. The guy I got mine from got it from New Orleans, which is about an hour away. Maybe that's why they are so rude and mean to me when I go to the one by me?? lol. Last time I went in to get my antenna fixed, the receptionist didn't even say hello. So I told her to go get the person that was going to help me. So I sat down to wait. As soon as this other man walked in she says, "Hi, would you like something to drink?" With a big a$$ grin across her face. Was she just being a bi*** or am I just assuming?

You just answer your own question

Lexus dealer always charge more than Toyota. Since they own both, do you think that they let lexus customer fix their lexus at The Toyota Dealer that they also own???

No! they will not do the service for you if they also owned the Lexus dealership. Always like that.
