Default closing sun/moonroof manually ?

hey guys , i was wandering if it was possible to close our sunroof manually, been searching and haven't really been able to find much info.

thanks if you have any input

been raining in the bayarea and my interior is getting shot from the water

anyone in the san jose, bay area good with sunroofs ? happy to pay you to close my sunroof, thanks 408-952-9495 is the cell phone. text me or something, i also have bmw e30 and lexus parts up for trade.

Not sure if the SC has this, I have not checked but worth a shot. Remove the light and controls for the sun/moon roof and you should see a gear system where you can put a L wrench or hex head, which ever, I forget. Turn that manually and it should close the roof.

hey guys i found the solution already, so i took out the motor and applied direct power to the motor to spin clockwise and counter clockwise. solved the problem.

paid a mexican guy 50 to do it. craigslist mechanic. took 1 hour.

someone close the thread please.
