not sure about the facts but this is what I have heard. The SC400(our cars) are no more. Supposedly the SC430 is a permanent replacement for our cars. The SC300 is going to look just like the SC430 with the 3.0 engine. As far as I know thats what I know to be true.

Toyota/Lexus needs to do something. Bring back the Supra and/or another rear wheel drive coupe!

i believe the sc300 coming out will be a coupe and therefore not exactly like the sc430.

also, couple years down the line, u can't rule out a sc300 + TT to compete with the //M3

I would love to see an old style SC300 with a retractable hard top with a 2JZ-GTE engine and 6 Speed Getrag Transmission. Then I wake up

I think they will release the 2 door IS300 before anything. Or may be this... http://web.ukonline.co.uk/soarertt/is430.htm

Most likely you'll see an SC330 with that new 3.3liter V6 they're dumping in the up and coming GS330. My one peeve about the retractable hard top on the SC430 is that you still have to use one of those archaic motorized antennas which get crappy reception as well as EMI/RFI. I dig the imprinted antennas, reception is better and you aren't letting the whole world know you're listening to the radio when that 4-foot long pole extends out. Maybe the SC430 has a better motorized antenna, personally enhanced by Levinson, but I still don't like them. The SC400 is probably long gone, though if they are smart the new SC3x0 will have an inline 6---3JZ-G(T)E.

I highly doubt that Lexus will EVER turbo anything, toyota might but never under the Lexus name. But I would love to see toyota keep the inline engine just take it to 3.5L

A 2 door IS would be cool(I would never buy one) but im sure if they did that they would leave out the 5spd tranny just like they did on the sportcross.

and yeah the "is430" was just a little project car done by TTE

Lexus wanted to make a SC 3/4 convertible BADLY when they could not figure out how to refreshen the design. But the chassis flex was just not acceptable to them. It was a softop too.

oh yeah its not like our cars sc3/4 have room in the back either .. at least not for people, just like the IS but its a 2 extra doors
