^^ He traded a GTE for a GTE, so not a huge rape or anything, he just gained something that had better parts here and there, and a worse turbo.

Yeah, I feel like I stole it. There is a long story behind how I got the car, but its too long to explain. There are a lot more parts on this car than I had. Plus the GS had a few problems. Rack going out, Alternator dead, needed rear tires...oops, interior was falling apart...it wasnt the greatest car.

Its going to be a while until I get the interior back together. I just bought a new clutch and differential. That took most of the money that I got on top of the trade, and I bought a lot of gifts for christmas...so its pretty much all gone. When I do get the interior back together, I plan to make it look really nice. It will prolly be dyed black so that way I can have a black on black car. I dont really know. I don't particularly like the cloth seats, so they will probably be changed to leather. I just want the car to look clean and nice.

I know the guy. His name is Matt and we live in the same town. Good guy I was talking to him when he first bought it and he got it for a good deal for what it had. GTE,6spd, cloth, no sunroof is pretty rare. I was so jealous. It just needs a little TLC and it will be sweet.

Lol, Matt Paul is one of my good friends...
I live in Franklin too...if you are saying you are from the same town...
Are you on Tennspeed? If not get on Tennspeed.net
Ive followed him countless times, even when the car was broken down, me and my GTE GS was right there to help him figure out what was wrong with it. Thats why the story is so long...but I guess I might as well tell it. Ill have that in the next post

Ok here is the story on how I got the car...now...keep up it gets confusing.
1st I got a call from someone with a 240 wanting to trade for a GTE GS that I had plus cash. He wasnt offering enough, so I said no. Meanwhile, Matt (my friend) was having some problems with this car on cold start and posted it up for sale. (which is fixed now...it was a plug that came off) The dude with the 240 then contacted him about trading plus cash, and plus wheels. He accepted the offer and not 2 days later burned up the clutch in the SC. Then I got a call from him saying he wanted to trade again plus cash. We worked it out and I managed to get the car. The guy didnt realize how expensive the 6 speed was or any of the parts that are on this car. This car is worth a lot more than mine was. I tried to get 8K for the GTE GS which had some nice parts on it, and I didnt get one hit. I know I could AT LEAST get 9K for this one in the condition it is in.
Long story short....
trade for 240 = declined
friend traded SC for 240
new owner of Sc burned up clutch
Offered to trade again plus cash
accepted and I own the car now.
